What is PvE?

PvE stands for "Player versus Environment," a type of gameplay in video games where players compete against computer-controlled enemies rather than other human players. In PvE, the focus is on completing missions, quests, and challenges that involve battling against the game's artificial intelligence (AI). This can include fighting monsters, solving puzzles, and progressing through a storyline or campaign.

PvE is common in many genres, including MMORPGs (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games), RPGs (Role-Playing Games), and action-adventure games. It contrasts with PvP (Player versus Player), where the primary challenge comes from competing against other human players. PvE allows for a more narrative-driven experience and can often be more accessible for new players, as it typically involves cooperative gameplay and teamwork against common foes rather than direct competition.
